How does one rig a car battery to train dogs to avoid poison, by only eating what’s in their dish?

When I connect the meat to wires from the battery, there is no shock. I ordered a fence charger from doitbest.com, that didn’t work, so I must find a way to make it happen with a battery. I’m beginning to consider using 110 AC because the contact is so brief, I don’t think it would hurt them. Any suggestions?

Rather than zapping your helpless dog, keep harmful substances in a safe place.. Just like small children, they dont know whats not good for them to eat/drink, you dont see parents attaching car batteries to their kids.. Yes, i understand they have shock collars and such, but I dont like those either.. Have you seen that guy who actually tested out a shock collar on himself, kinda funny but Imagine your dog going through that.

Just think of other ways to keep him from things that are harmful.
