Rope Access Work Offshore
Offshore Outsourcing: The Buzzword of the Internet Industry. by Ramakrishna Gudipudi
Do you wish you could concentrate more on your core activities and gain business advantage in the long run?
A dream dreamt by every businessman. But in today’s highly competitive world, it is a tight rope walk maintaining a balance between managing the business and ensuring it is churning out profits at the end of the day. And that tough situation calls for an action plan that can most definitely succeed. Given today’s tight budgets and shallow pockets of businessmen, an apt solution is the call of the day, a great solution that can take care of all the operation woes of business owners. The appropriate and cost effective way to gain an edge over competitors is by outsourcing projects to the right people who are proficient yet affordable.
Why Outsource?
The trend has now changed from ‘why outsource’ to ‘why not outsource’. Offshore Outsourcing is THE most popular and infectious management practice today, because it has paved the way for more creative output of work. ‘Tell us what you want’ has been replaced by ‘We give you what YOU want. Just outsource to us’. This trend has evolved due to the increasing competition in the online industry and scarcity of qualified and proficient manpower. Growing companies have now realized the importance of outsourcing, as it makes sense to outsource to specialists and focus on their core business activities. This enables them to effectively utilize their resources.
Benefits of Outsourcing:
- Reduction in the resource consumption.
- Lets you concentrate more on your core activities.
- Quality services at affordable prices.
- Value addition to your products and services.
- Quicker and more effective methods of handling processes.
- Advantage of hiring offshore professionals as per your
requirement and convenience.
Strategic and Tactical Grounds for Outsourcing:
- Focus on core competency and take care of the company’s primary concerns.
- Outsource and benefit from redirecting internal resources for core functions.
- Enhanced productivity by adopting newer technologies.
- Disaster recovery methods and enhanced back-up mechanisms adopted by outsourced companies to tackle unforeseen natural or even market fluctuations.
- Cut-down on internal heavy infrastructure investments.
- Access to world-class capabilities and operational abilities.
- Controlled operating costs in terms of administrative costs, domain expertise costs, or even skill demand costs.
- Surmount seasonal workloads.
- Outsourcing for one time applications that require extensive outlays.
Outsourcing has changed the outlook of online businessmen from conventional mindset to accepting the change in the wave, irrespective of the size of their business. So, why be left out? Be an integral part of the wave and cash in on it. Outsource your projects to the best there is, to get cost effective and quality solutions that add value to your projects.
With so many goodies on the platter, outsourcing is the ideal way to be a notch higher in today’s cutting edge technological competition. It is a ‘win-win’ situation for you as well your outsourced company.
Outsource your projects right away to the experts and heave a sigh of relief!

Offshore Safety Management $149 2010 was a defining year for the offshore oil and gas industry in the United States. On April 20th 2010 the Deepwater Horizon (DWH) floating drilling rig suffered a catastrophic explosion and fire. Eleven men died in the explosion – seventeen others were injured. The fire, which burned for a day and a half, eventually sent the entire rig to the bottom of the sea. The extent of the spill was enormous, and the environmental damage is still being evaluated. Following DWH the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, Regulations and Enforcement (BOEMRE) issued many new regulations. One of them is the Safety and Environmental System (SEMS) rule, which is based on the American Petroleum Institute’s SEMP recommended practice. Companies have to be in full compliance with its extensive requirements by November 15th, 2011. Ian Sutton’s book provides an experienced engineer’s perspective on the new SEMS regulations for offshore oil & gas drilling, how they compare to prior regulations and how to implement the new standards seamlessly and efficiently. Sutton explains the new SEMS rule, and describes what must be done to achieve compliance. Each of the twelve elements of the SEMS rule (such as Management of Change and Safe Work Practices) is described and guidance is provided as to what needs to be done to meet BOEMRE requirements. The book goes beyond the immediate requirements of SEMS. It provides guidance to anyone who is responsible for implementing or running an offshore safety management program, regardless of location or regulatory environment. For example, two chapters discuss Safety Cases and Formal Safety Assessments – techniques that are used worldwide. UNIQUE FEATURES AND BENEFITS: Detailed explanation of how to implement the new SEMS standard for offshore operations. Ties the new regulations in with existing Safety Management approaches helping managers leverage existing processes and paperwork. Written by a well-respected authority in the field (quotes from reviews: vast expertise’, Ian has insider access to executive thinking that few others have’, Ian is a well known figure in the process safety industry and is well regarded’). CEOs now have to sign off on compliance paperwork, making SEMS implementation something you need to get right first time. Ian Sutton provides the expert insights you need to achieve this.
