Need to replace drive belt tensioner. Nothing in my Chilton’s. Any free guides anywhere? Any help at all?

The bolt on my tensioner has broken off. Was rigged to work for several years now, but belt needs replaced badly. I am looking for any guides that mey help me determine if I can do it myself or not-or if I’m going to need to add tools to my collection. Anyboody know any good, honest, neat mechanics?

Please, don’t buy a belt tensioner from a junker that’s already been to the moon and back. They have crappy bushings as it is without slapping on another used part. NAPA, Carquest or a high priced dealer of your car can fix you right up.

They’re easy to replace (without the belt) It’s “easier” to install a new serpentine belt with a belt tensioner tool from Sears or any auto parts-store.
